Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-12-01. Effective date: 2026-12-01.
These terms govern your use of Snagmap (the "Service"), an iOS app that lets you log live events you have attended and share them with friends. By installing or using Snagmap you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Snagmap. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Your account
Most of Snagmap works without an account. Social features (friends, profiles, friend overlap) require Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. Notify us at support@snagmap.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another person, artist, venue, or organisation, or claim a handle that misleads others into believing your profile is operated by someone else.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any other user.
- Post hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content as your handle, display name, avatar, or notes on shows.
- Send unsolicited friend requests, messages, or content to other users (spam).
- Attempt to access, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure beyond ordinary use of the app.
- Use the Service to violate any law, including intellectual property and privacy laws.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or rate-limiting features of the app or our APIs.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we may report serious violations to law enforcement.
4. User-generated content
You retain ownership of the events, notes, photos, and other content you create in Snagmap ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Snagmap a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and to people you have chosen to share it with (friends, or the public if you opt in).
We do not claim ownership of Your Content, do not use it to train AI models, and do not sell it.
5. Reporting and moderation
Every public profile and public event in Snagmap has a "Report" affordance. Reports go to our moderation queue and are reviewed by a human within 24 hours during business days. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or take other action as needed. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason consistent with these terms and applicable law.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
Snagmap Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription:
- Monthly: $3.99 USD per month.
- Annual: $24.99 USD per year, with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers.
Prices may vary by region as set by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
To cancel: open the iOS Settings app -> tap your name -> Subscriptions -> Snagmap -> Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy.
7. Trial terms
The 7-day free trial is offered once per Apple ID on the annual subscription. If you do not cancel before the end of the trial, the annual subscription begins and your Apple ID is charged. We do our best to remind you before this happens via in-app notifications, but ultimately Apple manages trial state.
8. Third-party services
Snagmap integrates with third-party services including Setlist.fm, Ticketmaster, MusicBrainz, MLB Stats API, NHL, ESPN, API-Football, and TheSportsDB. Your use of these services through Snagmap is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behaviour.
9. Intellectual property
The Snagmap name, logo, app design, and source code are owned by Snagmap and protected by copyright and trademark laws. Setlist.fm, Ticketmaster, and other integrated services own their respective marks and content; we display attributions where required.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be accurate or available. Live event data, setlists, venue locations, and dates are sourced from third parties and may contain errors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snagmap and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Snagmap in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ten US dollars (US$10).
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold Snagmap harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of someone else's rights.
13. Termination
You can stop using Snagmap and delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate your access to social features if you violate these terms. The data you stored locally and in your iCloud private database remains yours regardless.
14. Changes to the Service or these terms
We may update Snagmap and these terms over time. Material changes to these terms will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Snagmap is operated. The specific governing-law clause and venue for disputes will be finalised before public launch and reflected in this section. Until then, disputes will be handled in good faith and, where possible, resolved by direct correspondence between you and us.
