If something is broken or confusing, we want to hear about it. Most replies land within 48 hours, often a lot sooner.
The photo scan did not find any of my shows.
The scan looks for photos taken near a known venue, with EXIF location and date intact. If you have location off in Camera, or if your photos were imported without metadata, nothing will surface. You can always log shows manually - tap the plus button on the globe and search for the artist or team. The scan also gets better as more photos accumulate; it never deletes or modifies your library.
Sign in with Apple is failing.
Sign in with Apple needs an active iCloud account on your device. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, and confirm you are signed into iCloud. If that looks right, fully close Snagmap, reopen it, and try again. If it still fails, send us the error code from the screen and we will sort it out.
I paid for Pro on another device. How do I restore?
In the app, open Settings and tap "Restore purchases". Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID that originally bought the subscription. Apple handles all subscription state, so a restore should bring Pro features back in seconds.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Snagmap, then Cancel Subscription. You will keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period. We never charge cancellation fees.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Open Snagmap, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete account". This removes your profile, friend connections, public events, and any pending friend overlaps from our servers within 30 days. The shows in your iCloud private database belong to you and are not deleted by this action - you can remove them from the app or from iCloud directly.
Ticketmaster import added duplicates of shows I already logged.
Snagmap deduplicates by external ID first, then by a fuzzy match on artist, date, and city within a one-day window. Edge cases happen, especially with festival lineups or rescheduled shows. Long-press any pin on the globe and tap Edit or Merge. If a whole batch came in wrong, email us with the import date and we can help reverse it.
The Year-in-Review reel is not generating.
You need at least three logged shows in the year being recapped. Reels are rendered on-device and need a few seconds. If you see an error, leave the screen, return to it, and try again. Older devices (pre-A13) may take longer. If it still fails, email support and we will diagnose.
A friend logged the same show I did but no overlap fired.
Overlaps require the same artist, the same venue, and a date within one day. If either of you logged a different venue or used a slightly different artist spelling, the match misses. Open the show on either side and tap "Refresh match" to re-run detection.
